JAMES'S SHOTGUN BUCK

This was the first day of deer season 1995. We had talked James into going with us at the last minute. On the last drive of the day we went through the old Vogel property just north of Woodsfield. James was on stand near State Route 800 just south of the old town dump. This big nine point came through at a dead run and James emptied a box of twenty gauge slugs plus a sixth shot for good measure before this big buck went down. Dad still hasn't been able to put one this big on the wall.
